This is an incredible bed in every way - it is a french antique bed with wood and gold engravings over the head and foot boards….this bed had been bought in Paris by a London family many years ago and brought to their home in London where the bed was an integral part of their family for a couple of generations…we felt very lucky to be offered it…it is truly special and unique…the artwork over the headboard and foot board were inspired by Hilda de Klint’s images of swans - we loved the theme of a black and white swan entwined around each other for the bed…this would look absolutely incredible in any bedroom….we imagine it on a wood floor with very little else in the room….just some lovely faded old rugs a giant antique floor standing mirror, and a threadbare chaise.
