This is such a pretty piece of furniture which was reclaimed from an old house by the Brighton coast and the artwork was inspired by Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss” - There is a wonderful sensuality in the image of the man-woman kiss on the top of the unit, and the whole sideboard is dappled and stippled with tiny detailed flowers and leaves which are delicately highlighted with gold leafing….the proportions and shape are stunning - and the bright interior is a lovely contrast to the artwork .
